Trex 450 Flybarless
Log:
12 January 2022.
Hover with no issue. Then switched to idle up 1, helicopter control got weird and spinning. Manage to return to normal mode, and kill motor. Then check, the gear of the tail rotor raise upward. manage to push it downward and try to hover. Helicopter start hovering but again spins. Managed to land safely with throttle kill. Checked, the tail gear is not responding to the main gear while spins.
Action:
1) Disassemble the tails assembly and check the tail gear for clues.
2) Main blade strike. Need to check.
3) Servo 3 is not responding. Need to check consistency.
19 July 2022.
Tail Rotor Assembly Failure- Action- Replace with new Tail Rotor Assembly.
Tail Servo Problem- Action- Replace with new Tail Servo.
